(Econ.), as the company\u2019s new CEO, effective 26 August 2026. Tage Johansson, the company\u2019s previous CEO, will continue as a member of the Board. Chief Technology Officer Karita Kinnunen-Raudaskoski has also stepped down from her operational role.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Halonen previously served as Fiberwood\u2019s Director of Finance, Administration and Business Development. He joined Fiberwood in January 2024. The transition of leadership responsibilities began in April 2026, when Halonen was appointed acting CEO of Fiberwood.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Halonen has more than 15 years of experience in finance, strategy, production, supply chains and business development. Before joining Fiberwood, he held leadership positions in operational excellence and corporate development at Adapteo Group. Prior to that, he worked at Mets\u00e4 Wood in finance, strategy and supply chain development.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cTuomo\u2019s appointment is a very important step for Fiberwood. He knows the company, its business and the requirements of its next phase, and the Board has strong confidence in his ability to lead Fiberwood purposefully towards commercial success. At the same time, we would like to thank Karita and Tage for their pioneering work and long-term commitment. Without their contribution, we would not be where we are today: we have strong technology and a product for which there is clear market demand,\u201d says <strong>Seppo Siljama<\/strong> of Stephen Industries, Chair of Fiberwood\u2019s Board of Directors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Tage Johansson is an experienced technology start-up developer who brought strong business expertise to Fiberwood during the company\u2019s early stages. Karita Kinnunen-Raudaskoski is one of the key developers of foam-forming technology. The technological expertise she has built over several decades forms an essential part of Fiberwood\u2019s material solutions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Halonen takes the helm as Fiberwood transitions from product development to commercialisation, industrial scaling and growth. The company\u2019s demo line in J\u00e4rvenp\u00e4\u00e4 is operational, producing wood- and natural fibre-based insulation, acoustic and construction materials on an industrial scale for customer applications. The company completed its first customer deliveries to Finland and Sweden in May.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cFiberwood has an exceptionally strong foundation.
